Anger

Are you turning green?

Not with envy. You and the Incredible Hulk have something in common. It can be so hard to control anger.

It’s like a raging fire that never burns out or a bomb going off in your head.

It’s not fun to feel irritable or on edge almost all the time.

Who wants to be the Incredible Hulk, as his clothes tear, his body turns green, and his rage begins?

Anger can be a learned reaction.

Ever heard of the old saying, “monkey see, monkey do”?

Many people watch how their parents react to anger and will do the same thing.

Unfortunately, the right skills weren’t learned on how to deal better with anger.

There is one mistake that people say about their anger: “I can’t control it.”

I’ve got great news!

If you practice the skills taught, therapy can help with your anger, and you will be able to control it.

Also, you might find having anxiety/depression has contributed to this anger. Get the anxiety under control and guess what else would be controlled… anger.

Sometimes, medications are needed to achieve this goal. BUT, one step at a time, my friend.

Learn to be in control and proactive.

Let’s wrap this up. How do you go from the Hulk to Bruce Banner? You don’t.

You take the best of both worlds and become Professor Banner. You can still have anger but be in more control of it. You can learn to be proactive instead of reactive.

It’s ok to be angry. What you do with it is a choice.

Time to stop turning green.

Let me help you learn the skills to be a Professor Banner and not a mindless Hulk. Bruce Banner wasn’t alone on his journey, and you won’t be either.

Take a brighter path and be the person you were meant to be.
